Notre Dama v Alabama Prediction Thread
My head tells me that Bama will be up 35-0 or so at the half, Nick will take the air out of the ball in the second half and they cruise to a 49-10 victory and win their 3rd BCS Championship in 4 years...an unprecedented accomplishment in modern college football. My gut tells me that Notre Dame is able to slow the running game of Bama enough to keep it close until mid-way through the 3rd quarter.
At any rate, I see no way on earth that ND wins this game. I think there are probably at least 4 SEC schools that would beat ND...perhaps beat them badly.
The last time ND was in a BCS game was against LSU. ND had been a title contender at one point in the year, had Brady Quinn as the QB, etc. LSU had Jamarcus Russell and was probably about average to a little above average as most Les Miles teams go. LSU won the game 41-14.
As such, things come around again and that is my score prediction...Bama 41-14.
And the rest of the story...I think AJ McCarron comes back and Bama wins their 4th in 5 years next year. McCarron goes down as the greatest game manager QB in college football history and opens up multiple Toyota Dealerships across the State of Alabama since he has no future in the NFL.

I think ND makes it closer than most people think but Bama beats them by double digits. I think you are a little off on your projection of McCarron having no future in NFL. Not saying he will be great but will at least be a back up.

Gonna be a good game till midway through the 4th. Brian Kelley will call some really good plays and might go up early but Bama will prove too much to handle and win by 10.

Re: Notre Dama v Alabama Prediction Thread
And Nick Saban will only stay at Bama for a few years and won't be able to recruit like he did at LSU....Deltamud77 wrote:McCarron goes down as the greatest game manager QB in college football history and opens up multiple Toyota Dealerships across the State of Alabama since he has no future in the NFL.
And Gene Chizik will build a dynasty that will be a thorn in Alabama's side for years.
And the 2011 LSU team will be considered the greatest of all time.
And the trees will live and all teabag victims will be free!!!
AMEN!!!
Re: Notre Dama v Alabama Prediction Thread
34-10. No way in hell ND scores 20 points on Bama. Not with what pitiful offense they have.
How do you like your Hope and Change?
Re: Notre Dama v Alabama Prediction Thread
Bama has to much time to practice for a ok ND team. Nick will have them ready. ND has a good group of linebackers but bama will pound pound and pound the line and will be able to beat them 28-14
