What's the best choke for the Sx3? And what works well with what brand ammo. Just bought it new and have no clue.

Ill have to differ on this...steel sux. Flys light and transfers no energy. 3.5s carry a larger payload and pattern better for me as such. I dont believe they give much more range, but, have a better thicker pattern for me. 3.5 does cost more, are heavier to carry, but,3.5 #3's are the shiznet for me. You will have to try a few and see what works for u. We use a modified choke for everything. I will say that the supermags light my caca chute up at sunrise...y'all have fun

^^^ this.
Shooting timber holes, I still shoot 2.75in shells a good bit.
Wide open (fish ponds, rice field, or big water lake) is 3in.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

i had this exact conversation with they guy behind the gun counter behind macks. he patterned just about everything with that gun and he shoots a sx3 with hevi metal number 2s and a hevi shot choke, however the modified factory choke will give you a real good pattern for most shots.

i love these hevi metal shells.
