If anyone sees a primos ultra blackout or old man with torn up seat and gash in the rubber on the seat part for sale get with me. It was stolen on property near the city of Madison.
If you are going to trespass at least leave my crap alone. This stand and camera was almost dead in the center of a 100 acre property so there is no argument that they thought it was on them. It kills me that you have to worry about someone taking your stuff. I am from a small town and my wife is always getting on me for leaving my truck unlocked. In fact when I told her what happened she said " oh you just leave it out there so someone can take it." I almost lost it when she said that... What is wrong with someone that they would just take someone else's stuff? I really hope I run into this guy this season.
Rant off
Camera was new... never even got a chance to check it.

i feel you're pain, someone stole a doghouse blind and my chair last turkey season on my lease. Had to be a brave sumab-tch considering how long it takes to put them blinds back in the bag.

I wrote on your other thread on the bull, but if I was you, I would invest in some python locks and a new camera and rig them up a few feet off the ground and catch the little focker. That's the great thing about those new primos cameras, the lock goes right over the face of it. He will return, I assure you.

Re: &*^$ing trespasser stole my camera and deer stand
Yea I am betting on him returning. I talked to the land owner and we think we know who did it. He actually tried to pass himself as the land owner to the land owner a few weeks ago. When he got called on his bs he turned and hauled but out of the woods. He left a bunch of crap out there that the land owner took. The owner left his card and a note telling him if he would call and talk to him he could get his stuff back. I was unaware that this had happened or I would have never left my stuff out there.
We think we know where he lives and we know where he hunts. We just need to catch him now. I dont expect to get any of my stuff back and I can not prove it was him. I am sure you deal with this stuff on those urban spots you hunt but it makes me sick. I just can not fathom as a hunter another hunter walking on to someone elses property and stealing another hunters stuff. Kinda against the code...

Re: &*^$ing trespasser stole my camera and deer stand
First off bulldog he is not a hunter but a thief, trespasser, and probably a poacher. I had a climber and a ladder stand stole off my dads property this year. Like you I am pretty sure who did it and where they live but have to prove it. After all its not what you know but what you can prove. I am God fearing and know I should turn the other cheek but when I do catch the person(s) they will be toting an a** whooping home. I can't stand that feeling you get in your stomach when something is stolen from you. There is no excuse for stealing. You know that something is not yours then don't take it. If you do then you are a lower than whale feces on the ocean floor THIEF!!! Hope you catch them.

I had my little 10' boat stolen. I use it to paddle across the lake to one of my stands. Its nickname is Titanic, I hope that sucker sinks with he thief in it.

Re: &*^$ing trespasser stole my camera and deer stand *updat
So I went out to hang a lock on with a lock this time. On my way out I meet 4 12-14 year old boys. On the walk over to them I was contemplating how I was going to handle it. I decided the know where they are coming from approach would come closer to getting my stuff back than the army sergeant approach.
There is a fort about 40 yards inside the property line that would make any little boy jealous. When asked they said it was theirs. I told them my name and the name of the land owner and that he asked me to keep people off his property. I explained that there was some stuff missing off the property and we would like it back. I told them they could keep playing in their fort but not to venture any farther into the property. One of he kids looked guilty when I mentioned my stuff. I told him where he could put it and that I would be back to look for it there. He didn't really have an answer so that was really all the answer I needed. They all looked like good kids aside from the ole miss attire. Hopefully me camera will be where I told them to leave it.
