I am going Deer/Duck hunting south of Natchez this weekend and I wanted to get an idea of the numbers of ducks being seen there. Good luck to you guys and gals.

The Birds are spotty. Some have them, some don't. If you are hunting Private Land you should do alright. I have heard mixed reports coming from there over the past 2 weekends. Opening weekend was good, but it has tapered off since then. A few bucks are chasing does, but the rut isn't heavy just yet. I say give it two more weeks and some cold weather and the deer and duck hunting will be unbelievable. Hope this helps

I am hunting off of Hutchins Landing Rd. My wife's family have land down there surrounded by St Catherine's Creek and the Miss River. I hope to make my trip worth while. Thanx for your input.

Russell,
Where exactly do you hunt down on Hutchings Landing. We have the 16th section leased down in the bottom in the middle of sc creek and bordered on the 4th side by the river. We have the trailers at the end of hutchings landing where the road spllits to go to the river or the check station.....

My wife's family is the Payne's. Their camp is in the fork of Hutchins Landing Rd and York I think. You may be a member of the same club.
