Ask DS.. Scope mounts
Which scope mounts do you all like better DNZ one piece, dual dovetails, or any other? I'm fixing to mount a Leupold 56mm on a remington 700.

Badger ordnance the 6 lugged ones

Leupold PRW (or any permanent STEEL Weaver style ring with at least 4 bolts) with a one piece picatinny base. Good enough for military sniper rifles, good enough for me. Go ahead and get a ring lapping kit or have someone lap them for you...

Just and FYI, but I put a 50mm on mine the other day, and didn't have alot of extra room. I already had a luepold base, and had to go with 30mm rings for the new scope.

Tally makes the best one piece mount but are hard to find. Especially in 30 mm. Deadnutz are pretty readily availible for the 700 at most any sporting goods store and probably the next best choice. You got to get high to clear the 56mm bell so you want a rugged mount!Duck91 wrote:Which scope mounts do you all like better DNZ one piece, dual dovetails, or any other?
