ducks wary...snakes still out

Hunted this morning and must not be very many new ducks down because all ducks that looked at us were extremely skiddish. I'm guessing they had been shot at alot in this area. They seemed call shy too. We didn't call that much because somebody set up near us was hooting on their call like it was a elementary school kazoo. How can you sound that bad and not have your hunting partner offer to give that call a little "pitch"

Since the water was so deep, we had to boat hunt--would much rather lean up against a small tree. No matter how set up a blind on the boat, it still looks like a camo rectangle of death to the ducks.

On the way out we saw a water moccasin as big as your arm. Would have made a meal for 3 if you were real hungry.
