Went to look around our place this mornin. Jumped about 3000-4000 mallards, and another 800 or so teal and gads out of one end of our slough. Had another 800 or so mallards and gads on the other end. Gonna be a heck of an opener. We have the only water other than the st France's river in a 15 mile radius.

Hunting the 5 or 6 days of the Arky opener. Saturday and Sunday on private land near Walnut Ridge and the next 3 or 4 days on public land.

My family and I just had a nice meal at Cross-Heirs and will hunt Cypress Crossing for the next three days. We just got to meet Brock too .... It's gonna be a blast.

11 mallards, 10 pintails, 2 gadwalls, 25 shovlers and 2 specks. Beautiful morning, great hunt.
