George at one block east cleveland ms.

Great show last night George and Danial (drunk and disordally) put on a great show. For those that don't know George is the guitarist for Wide Spread Panic. Drive By Truckers will be there Wed the 26th they opened for the DEAD this past weekend ought to be another good one :D :D

I stumbled in on the music being a long time fan was greatly suprised and happy with a new good bar in Cland. Its what that town needs.

Rebel Duck you are exactly right that building was vacant for a while and David has great plans for it the inside looks great. The Drive By Truckers will be a great show i will be bartending for that one. He also has the North Mississippi Allstars booked a little further down the road not sure exactlly when but it will be another good one. Also sat. night the 28th JUICE will be playing.

Brings back memories of 1974 at One Block East in Greenville. Used to sit and listen to Andy and Truett do Prine and Fogelberg.

Them wuz the days! Dang near as good as Boones Farm Apple Wine!

DBT is also supposed to be somewhere in Oxford this thursday. Not sure of the venue though. Too early in the semester to be skippin.

Where is this venue in Cleveland ? Not too familiar with Cleveland so some specifics would be helpful ?

Do they have live music on weekends pretty much every weekend ? Do they have a website ?

River Hunter...nope, One block East was right on the main drag there downtown (wasn't that Washington) one block from the levee right there at the marina. Been a long time, but that part is pretty clear. I wasn't so clear leaving that place on a couple of occasions, though!

The venue is the old rumors building or old abby t's it is the next intersection after 8 and 61 going west towards rosedale the next red light. there is no website yet..... The picture above is of me and George after the show what a great time we had :D :D Sat night will be New Orleans JUICE!!
