STOLEN DOG
John-
I'm really sorry what has happen to you and your family....and can only dream of how you are feeling a/b Missy being stolen. It takes one sorry SOB to break in your house but to steal your dog is even worse. I really hope she turns up soon!! I'll be thinking of you.
Best wishes,
Justin

hey man, i had both of my dogs stolen from out of my back yard about three months ago. Whoever the sobs were dropped them off during the night at the Rankin county animal shelter with the emus 3 days later. I would call the shelters every 30 minutes to an hour because labs don't stay long at the shelters and they don't keep very good records of what is brought in and taken out I called constantly for two days and on the third day, there were two yellow labs there that had shown up the night before. Good luck
ok guys. I have found out what the person did with the dog. My only hope and prayer is that I can get her back before it is too late and some kinda way they don't have a use for her. I can't elaborate on this right now as the taking of the dog was in direct violation of a court order that had been issued unknown to me. I am happy to know that she was actually given to an extremely responsible organization, only I hope she makes their "cut" and isn't disposed of. I can tell you that I am going to be camped out at my lawyers office FIRST thing in the morning and am going to get criminal charges pressed, get with the organization that has her and get it court ordered that she be IMMEDIATELY returned to me. I promise I'll update you on this as more info becomes available. What thehell can I do its Sunday night at 900.
simple
simple..... it involves two 9MM's, a fresh set of size 13 steel toe boots, a set of brass &%*, and some cheap sunglasses..... but that's just me, I'm always too lenient on people. I smell what ya steppin in bro. Break-ins without mention of forced entry and stolen VCR's always point to an inside job somewhere. Santa would be coming early, and screw the switches and ashes..... it would be dead biatchez and whooped azzes!

Once again, I can't elaborate on the whole overall situation. I can tell you that the dog was given away by my wife to an animal shelter. I was told by the people there that she had already been adopted out. I showed them the court order against what she did, and that I wanted the dog back in my possession (sp?) IMMEDIATELY. They informed me that the persons dropping the dog off had told horror stories of her abuse by me. I was told by these people that they were informed that I beat her with metal objects, that I turned the collar up on HIGH and shocked her because I thought it was "funny". That I beat her all the time for no reason. Missy has a characteristic passed on to her by her mother of being timid. She does take the submissive position when approached by men. It's nothing I have done, it's simply something passed on to her genetically. ANY of you that have ever been around me at a training day, heard my speak of my dog on here, or in any way seen interaction between my and my dog know this to be a total falacy. One particular person who was judging me at a seasoned test last fall...the one where she got her HR title in fact did his job as a judge and informed me that I had touched her as she was delivering the bird to hand to be careful that touching of dogs could be deemed as intimidation. I told him at that point "You know I have never ever abused the dog and what I probably did was give her an attagirl upon delivery of the duck." He said that's exactly what you did, but be careful about doing it. He said he could tell when I did it that I really didn't know I was doing it, that it was probably a normal thing that I did and did it not realizing it. Anyway, that's just one example of the opposite behavior that what was reported against me. I should be able to report a happy ending to this whole story tomorrow, and a person who I will not name offered me the availability of his kennels as a boarding place until everything has settled...and will probably be putting the dog there just to make absolute sure this doesn't mysteriously happen again. I don't know if that person ever monitors this board or not, but if he does, know that she's headed your way soon.

I know you don't know me, but I sent my dog to a pro trainer about 4 weeks ago and have a "naked kennel" and live in the middle of nowhere(closest neighbor is 3 miles). I have a 4 yr old son that would love to have another "puppy" around to play with even if for a short time. If I can do anything just let me know!. I can't imagine someone taking my dog and doing something like this! Me and my family are watching this thread very closely. The invitation stands and will to anyone that needs somewhere for their dog to stay during turbulent(sp) times.

Missy is back with me. She's resting peacefully beside my chair as I am typing this. She has been through a traumatic experience I can tell. She won't leave my side...if I go somewhere, she's right there with me on my heels. I can tell you that I am taking every avenue of recourse that is available to me (or at least that I am aware of) against the individual who did this totally inexcusable act. I fully appreciate each and every one of your concerns in this situation. Situations such as this show you who your REAL friends are, and that I am lucky enough to have just such a support network. Once again thanks, it really means a lot to me.
