Lifeproof Iphone Cases

Does anyone have a Lifeproof case on an Iphone 4S?

I just bought one and I am disappointed so far. When talking on the phone, the sound is muffled and the people that I talk to can barely hear me. When I remove the case, it sounds fine.

Has anyone experienced this?

Yes, it takes some getting used to. I've had mine for several months now and I rarely notice the difference.

All the guys here have them b/c they are waterproof and we are all out in the rain and chemicals everyday. I went with the otter box again because of the belt clip. I have to feel mine vibrate because I cant have it on ringer because I couldnt hear it over the mowers and the fact that Im always around golf so have to keep it turned down.

Open the the bottom where the charger input goes and it will be more clear when talking. I have taken pictures under water with mine.

No complaints with mine so far and the sound seems ok to me.

I'm going to be investing in one. My brother flipped his trail rig into a big mud hole. After they flipped the truck back over they spent 20 minutes looking for the phone in the mud and water.

Found the phone, washed it off with bottled water, and it was like it never happened.

Life proof only warranties the case, otter box will cover phone in the event of a failure. I dropped my galaxy and gashed the otter screen, they sent me a new one with pics attached to email. They emailed back and asked in phone screen was still good. Said yes it was fine, and they were glad since they didn't have to replace my phone...

You don't need a phone warranty if the case does its job. I left my phone on top of my truck after putting my son in it last year. Phone flew off the truck right off Hwy 61 and was found a week later. Case had a few scratches but everything was fine.

Mine did the same thing for about a month. I swear those cases have a "break in" period.

Mine works great. Have no problems with it.
