new climber?

Postby johnvmcleod » Mon Sep 24, 2012 8:05 am

I thinking on a new climber this yr. I have the old style ole man that's probably 15 yrs old. I like the looks and weight of the aluminum one. I'm a big guy at 6'2 and 280 so I need something that's roomy and good for bow hunting. Want the option to shoot while setting if needed. What's yalls .02$.

no experience with them, but being 6' and 230 I don't have a problem getting in my regular Summits. This particular stand is made for someone up to 350 lbs so i would assume it would have plenty of room.

I am 6'4" and use the API grand slam magnum. Plenty of room and that thing is rock solid. Only down side is it the weight but that is what you have to deal with to get a climber to hold big fellas like us.
