Restaurant in Jackson area.

Postby mille011 » Tue Sep 18, 2012 10:04 am

I'm am coming to Jackson tomorrow for a meeting. Wanting to try a new restaurant tomorrow night. In the past we have done Char, Walkers, etc..., but recently I have heard alot about Ely's and Local 463, and thought of trying one of them. What are y'alls opinions on these places?

Thanks.

I have eaten at Ely's 4 times and all 4 times I cant get home fast enough before I gator myself. Something in the seasoning that doesnt agree with me.

+1 on Tico's. We eat there all the time and it is consistent and all the waitress' are easy on the eyes.

Elys is good but Walkers is better....463 is owned by the same people that own walkers..............Ticos is a mighty fine Steak.

Go to Creshales...................

Shapley's is my Favorite. Tico's is excellent as well. A good place to eat that not many people think about it Olga's on I-55. Sounds like you need to stay here for about a week and hit them all!

For some reason, and it may just be me, but I wasn't all that impressed with Table 100 after all they hype I'd heard about it before I visited.

+1 on Parlor Market. Nice atmosphere as well. Ticos, Walkers, Creshales are always great too. They new Nicks isnt bad either. I will also add(while not as "Fancy" as the others) is Strawberry Cafe in Madison. Great food.

We lived in Jackson for several years but moved about 4 years ago. You guys are right, can't go wrong with Tico's, it's been good for a long time. It will be me and my wife. Just trying to possibly find one that wasn't open while we were there.

+1 also on Table 100. Was not impressed at all with the food. Bar atmoshere is alright but not worth the drive with the cost of gas.
