I stand by my statement til proven wrong. Yes, State did play like chit, but we also had 28 points taken off the board due to wide open wr drops. Troy is no pushover, especially at home. The sun belt teams are getting better. Louisiana-Monroe was some bad refs away from a 2-0 record vs sec teams.

When your own receivers drop passes, that's not points taken off board...thats your own performance...and just b/c ULM beat Arkansas and almost beat Auburn under all current situations, that's like LA Tech beating Ole Miss midseason 2011 and using that as an SEC measuring stick.

I'm afraid you're passing delusional off the wrong direction given your analysis...you confuse me

Never seen a group of fans get so excited and talk so much trask after getting blown out and giving up over 60 points in your own stadium. These bears live in some sort of delusional upside down world where good is bad and bad is good. Must have been passing the peace pipe in the grove and they still don't realize that they got destroyed on the field.

Fact: Ole Miss is an injury or two away from a tail spin on either side of the ball. The defensive and offensive line is a big weakness and the lack of depth on both sides of the ball. Alabama, LSU and Georgia will beat the breaks off of them. As far as the egg bowl goes, you never know, the only thing tsun has going for them is being at home. Talent wise... state should run em out of the stadium!!!

Mud, you seem to have an unbiased eye and a knowledgable approach when it comes to evaluating SEC football, but i have to ask you a question..

Why do you now make this prediction on the egg bowl after the Texas woodshed stomping? UM is better where? Because of homefield advantage? Or Texas is way better than State?

Po Monk picks Ole Miss might can win 6, i say we might can win 5 and get lucky a win a 6th, another guy says he likes what he sees so far, one guy makes reference that Ole Miss actually did some positive things in a game, an LSU fan says we could win 7....so in collaboration, this thread has Ole Miss maybe going .500 in considering half it's schedule ain't as good as once thought and it's offense can actually score a point this year...Ole Miss is getting really blown up by all these crazy bast@rds...
Analysis is Ole Miss sucks, have sucked, and will continue to suck until they start increasing the amounts of their recruit/player handshakes.

Yes, Ole Miss scored 31 on Texas, but the last time I checked, the Big XII has NEVER been known for their defense. And that Texas team isn't that great. Nowhere near the Texas teams in the recent past. Mac Brown is still trying to rebuild.

Hard for me to see any progress in the program when you've become Kentucky's and Vandy's little bitch in the SEC.
Then we have this...a response to the question about the analysis of Miss State. NOT ole miss, Miss state.

All I will say about Ole Miss, if you watched any of Ole Miss 12 quarters of football and can't see any improvement, if you think Ole Miss of the past two years would showed any life and score any, much less 31 against Texas...then it's just what you want to see...furthermore if you think Texas is bad this year b/c they struggled last year, you don't pay attention to anything outside Starkville or that just how you wanna see it b/c they played Ole Miss ...again your confusing at best.

and as for being a bitch in the SEC, when you beat somebody competitive in your conference; then worry about where your peers rank...of course I guess if those receivers could catch you'd have beaten Troy easily and the whole jubilation of beating the worst Auburn team in a century might not be such an elephant in the room huh?

I take that back, couple of those 12 quarters they looked lost(not Houston Nutt 2009-2011 lost, but lost)...but I expect that from a team like this one with no depth.
