This prompted me to take a close look at my month-old millet yesterday. No worms yet.

Checked mine this morning. No worms, but saw some grasshoppers.

One of my millet plots got smoked in a matter of days. I going to try and spray the other tomorrow. Will a malathion (sp?) kill them?

Liquid 7 works great but it only stays in the ground 30 days
Plus it's cheap

I ended up spraying liquid sevin. I checked my plots on Saturday and they seemed to be doing fine. I hope I got enough on the ground.

Liquid 7 worked for me last year after a 1/4 loss of crop in 24hrs. When they rally the troops, they rally the dang troops!! The new rule of thumb at my place is check everything every other day, if not every day. I know its not possible for alot of people and its a huge pain in the rear, but that hour long round trip for me seems worth it.
