Just picked up a Kamado the other day and it is great.
Got a heck of a deal on it and couldn't pass it up.

Got a Cypress. I love that thing. I've cooked everything from pizza to hamburgers to steak to ribs to a casserole on that thing. Be sure to get the electric charcoal starter when you buy.

But how does it do with hamburgers, steaks,& pork chops
Do you use regular char coal with them?
it does steaks, burgers, grilled chicken, etc awesome!

you do not use regular charcoal or lighter fluid in them, the lighter fluid will ruin the grill because the ceramic soaks in the odor/fumes of the lighter fluid.

you use the lump wood charcoal with no lighter fluid..."cleanest" tasting food off the grill you'll ever eat.
