The youth dove hunt at Mahanna was everything and more....My 2 boys got to hunt an 80 acre sunflower field and exp a true delta hunt...We will be back next year!

I heard they killed 300. I hunted it this morning, more hunters then birds and I contracted the west nile virus.

It's a nice setup, for sure. I hunted this morning also, and those mosquitoes will make you think they're doves.

There's also nothing quite like having shot whistling past you (three times) after some jackwagon can't hold off shooting at a low bird. That'll wake you up and send the blood pressure skyward.

I swear, whenever that first little cool front comes through the mosquitos go freaking crazy. I was in Valley Park yesterday and was swarmed by em. One giant one got in my truck that I had to knock down before I could kill it.

worst mosquito situation i have ever encountered in our woods at eagle lake this weekend and not a one of them was less than boone and crockett..... just came back out of the woods and said to hell with it ....
