That's good medicine there man!! I am already worried how Im going to be able to handle the twins on their first dove hunts, lol. On another note, my twelve yr old was a couple shy of his first limit sat, and then on sun. the same. His milestones accomplished in the outdoors are just as significant to us as the sporting and academic achievements.

That's great!! I carry my two oldest boys with me everywhere I go, even though they are only 4 & 2. I can't wait until they are able to do what your boy did. Congrats!!

Awesome Josh. Can't wait till mine is ready for that.
I know we didn't get to last year, but if you want, we'll take him out to the ponds this year and get him a duck or 6.

Awesome! Soak up every moment. My "six year old" just called me up an hour ago wanting my CC # for the application fee for college.... :( :D Time goes so fast! Seems like yesterday he was like your son....

I know what joy you are feeling.
My son Mason (7) fired the first shells out of his 410 Saturday. the first was a clean miss at a dove on a limb. Second shot was at a crossing right to left at about 30 yards and he folded it!
Before it hit the ground, he had already sent my Lab after it!
My ole chest pumped up as the tear formed in my eyes!
