one of my side jobs...I'm an IT Director/Manager full time at a hospital in MS, but I've been doing consulting on the side (primarily development, but other IT jobs too) whenever I needed extra income for 10 years now. Served me pretty well over the years to help out the budget and generally my pricing is drastically lower, cause I have no overhead or expenses, just my time.

yep, that's how I buy my toys and guns... side BUSINESS jobs pay well. Especially when it a system down type of call Residential crap is for the birds.

more toys not purchased through the budget equals more toys overall HA! Plus, in most cases I'm working with people on a tight business budget, and I help them out big time with cost, so it's a win/win...

I stay away from residential unless I know the person fairly well, it's definitely not the cat's pajamas.
