I don't know what is worse, how fat he is or that he is now a Bammer fan.

Too much time at the "Chocolate Wonderfall."

Re: Dontae Walker...
This will probably make the Ole Miss faithful mad, but I think Walker had more pure ability than Deuce (who was a freak himself) relative to his ability translating to the NFL. Walker really was like a blending of Walter Peyton and Emmitt Smith when you consider his size, speed, center of gravity, etc. If he had his head screwed on right and had taken care of himself, there is no reason he doesn't have as good of a career, or even better, than Deuce.
Re: Dontae Walker...
He hardly ever actually RAN though. He'd trot up to the line and get bowled backwards. He could have gotten 2 yards a pop with zero line if he'd just run. Miller was the better back of the two just because he gave it all he had.Deltamud77 wrote:This will probably make the Ole Miss faithful mad, but I think Walker had more pure ability than Deuce (who was a freak himself) relative to his ability translating to the NFL. When he did decide to run, you could see the talent though.

The Florida and Texas A&M games were good references.Deltamud77 wrote:When he did decide to run, you could see the talent though.

Agreed. NOLA in the snow was amazing. And sad, knowing what could have been.Greenhead22 wrote:The Florida and Texas A&M games were good references.Deltamud77 wrote:When he did decide to run, you could see the talent though.

I listened to Madkin and Moulds interviewing him a few weeks back and according to them, he was the #1 HB recruit in the country. I remember the excitement when State landed him, but I guess I didn't realize just how highly touted he was
