Chevy Trailblazer

Postby mshunter77 » Mon Jul 23, 2012 8:52 pm

Any of you have experience with them. Pros and cons, do they hold up? With used truck prices ridiculously high I started looking at SUVs and I am seeing a ton of these out there at pretty good prices so was just curious about them.

My parents pull one behind there motorhome. Seems to be a pretty good vehicle. Its got over 100,000 miles and still holding up well. It rides fairly well not quite as good as my yukon but I could live with it I had to drive it all the time. gas milage isnt a whole lot better though. I think its actually about the same as my yukon. I will have to check and see.

My mother had one a few years back; she loved it and never had a minute's trouble out of it. Thought she wanted another truck and traded it. Had the truck for a couple years and then traded it for another one almost identical to the one she had (envoy) and is just as satisfied with it.

we had one for 4 years, it was 4x4...great vehicle if the mid size, 6 cylinder SUV works for you...I never had a problem with it

It didn't get any better gas mileage than our Tahoe we traded it for though...don't buy it for fuel economy...

Not looking for anything special just something reliable to get me back and forth to work and I think the SUV would serve better as a back up family vehicle than a truck.

Unless your are just dead set on an trail blazer take a look at the Honda Pilot. My wife had a trail blazer and when she got a new one we went with the Honda Pilot. Gets better milage than her Trail Blazer did and can also seat up to 8. I havent looked at the trail blazers lately but will definately be going back with a pilot.
