EVERYBODY came through Memphis! In college, we used to watch the wrestling out of Memphis, where Jerry "the King" Lawler was the good guy and Kerry Von Eric "the Modern-Day Gladiator" was the bad guy. Then we'd stay up drinking till midnight to watch the wrestling out of Meridian, where Kerry Von Eric "the Modern-Day Gladiator" was the good guy and Jerry "the King" Lawler was the bad guy.

I stand corrected. So many have died it's hard to keep up with. Mid south wrestling was the best though.

How many of the Von Erch's are left?

i think they were saying that rumor originated when he left wwf(e?) and the "end" played out that the undertaker "suffocated" him, accidentally, in the funeral home scene.ha!
wwf(e?) considered him dead, so fans took it literally i guess...

there were so many convoluted plot lines and personas going at once, it was confusing when you saw them in a real news story with their real names (wreck, arrest, etc).

*edit to add: cootkiller, he's still alive...that site pokes fun of the "he's dead" rumors of the wrasslin' world. '91 is the year the undertaker did him in a.k.a. warrior and wwf(e?) parted ways, bitterly.

He is dead. Period, end of story. He was murdered by The Undertaker and all other stories and articles are false, no matter what.
