Ozonix

Postby duckchur1 » Tue Jul 03, 2012 8:24 am

Has anyone ever used one? I have been seeing the commercials. I have been curious to know if anyone has ever tested it. I am thinking that its a hoax but I can be skeptical at times.

I own one and have used it for a whole year. It adds a lot of bulk, but it does work. It is not 100%, but I have had some scenarios where I was very impressed.

Science tells me it's snake oil. Ozone can disinfect (kill bacteria), but there's more to human scent than that. I'd imagine even dead bacteria have odor to a good enough nose. I suspect any benefit it provides is simply masking odor, something that dozens of products already do for a fraction of the cost.

I'm curious too. I don't mind spending the money if it actually works, but that's a lot of money if it's just a gimmick.

so science tells you...or your assumption (you imagine dead bacteria have odor) tells you?? Not trying to be a dick, just being devils advocate...I don't know if it works or not. Actually, their claim is it kills "odor causing bacteria"...not that it kills bacteria that smells....they claim it oxidizes, which by definition debunks your theory. Oxidation would purify the area around you therefore eliminating at least a % of your odor. But again, that's their claim, not saying it works or it doesn't...but I think your theory is scientifically flawed as to why it would not work.

They have a money back guarantee......that is the only reason that I did it. I can assure you that it works.

I agree with you dawg, but I don't know many people that consistently kill big deer with a bow and minimal scent control. I know a few, but not many.
