IMO everything about C Spire SUX!! Phone service in W-SW Hinds Co REALLY SUX, and thats funny cause the corp. office is in Madison Co. looks to me like there should not be a dead spot in central Ms.!! When my contract runs out in Sept. in going to Verizon or AT&T!

Does anyone know of the correct dept or person that we could start channeling these complaints to? If we spent as much time letting them know how unsatisfied we are as we spend b!tching on here, we may get more action and service than expected.....just a thought.

YEP, SURE IS, when every other phone company has service in the area!!! There shouldnt be a dead area within 100 miles of the corp. office, if they cared about the area at all!!
Dropped calls, and voice mails comeing in 2 weeks late and alot of other reasons, I can keep on if needed!!

I paid the early temination fee and swapped back to ATT. Cost me some $$$ but no sense paying for service when I can't use it. Cellular South worked fine at my house, they went to C-Spire adn the phone absolutely would not work at my house. Cellular South was pretty good, but C-Spire is terrible.

No it did not change, I used to work for C-Spire, there was over 90 million invested into brand/name change. Cspire is the only carrier that will pick up in these rural areas where I live. but I am not going to call that guy a liar cause anything is possible. I'm just going by what we were told.

Same network only the name changed. Would NOT affect your service in any way. Most likely your phone is on the fritz. Did you take it to the store or just drop them altogether? People (not pointing fingers at anyone) overreact way too much about cellular service and often times don't give them the chance to resolve it. You know there a million things that can interfere with a cellular signal. Do you throw a fit when you get static on a radio station?

Dont know if there is any truth to it or not, but I have heard rumor that Verizon owned alot of towers that they leased to Cell South on 10yr lease contract. The leases are coming due and Verizion isnt renewin the contracts and keeping the towers for their own use.

I've had Cellular South / CSpire for 2 years after switching from ATT. I'm very happy with CS. I have coverage where I never had it with ATT. And I have about 1/10 the dropped calls I used to have. I haven't had to deal with customer service much but when I have, it has been far better than ATT's. And I'm getting more for less $ than I did before. Your mileage may vary.

Believe that agreement was cancelled a couple of years ago when C-Spire along with other smaller carriers filed a monopoly lawsuit against the big carriers for the 4G LTE shenanigans they were trying to pull.

^^heard something along the lines of at "re-up" time, on contract, verizon kept same $$ on their end, but cspire upped $$ on their end of the tower share rates....verizon said piss on'ya, so verizon towers are verizon (and their piggy-backers, minus cspire) and cspire towers are cspire (and their piggy-backers, minus Verizon).
