Doesn't matter how dark or light you get them tented if the little tester thingy the officer or the guy at the inspection station uses isn't calibrated. I haven't done a thing in the world to the tint on my truck except accidentally clean it with ammonia. It actually lets more light through now. One year I can get an inspection sticker, the next year I can't, the next I can.... Real headache!

What I was told by tint company is that legal is 28% on front. The reason this was changed was because factory windows come with a slight level of tint in the glass on the front windows. So what was happening was people was getting 35% on the front and it would measure darker because of this.

Don't go to Cleveland or Ridgeland area. They will pop that @ss for dark windows and the ticket is $350. I got a prescription from my eye dr yesterday for darker windows. you have to take it to your local tag place and pick up 3 forms, then to the highway patrol to get authorized. My windows are 20%. Seems like a pain in the ass to have to go all these places for a little sticker, but it's well worth it in my opinion. I like my winders dark!

Wow. Well I Don't really drive the truck till season comes around. I don't ever drive into TN bc of collierville has a zero tolerance for it. You strip it off there or get slammed with a ticket. If I have to all windows down even if it's raining or cold, I deal with it. Now N MS has a rule but never seen it enforced. They still gave me a inspection. But city and sheriff can't write you a ticket for not having it only Hp. Then when HP gives you one it's only 30.00 maybe if you don't get a inspection done in 30 days

I didn't have to go to the Highway Patrol to get authorized on my waiver. My doctor wrote it for me, took it to tax collector and they logged it and gave me the waiver that I have to keep in my vehicle.
