Spent about 4 hours three years ago or so watching and photographing that very thing. Think I posted the pictures way back then. Pretty neat to watch. Both were really large snakes then, too. The speckled king snake was around 5' and the copper head was just slightly smaller. When he was done the king snake was as big around as my arm. He looked like he wouldn't be able to move and I really expected him to just lay there for hours, but about 10 minutes later he was long gone.
