I have written a few with Travelers and Safeco but most of them I put with Progressive. All competitively priced and have good claims service.

You must have a good agent...
yep, even got me a 30 year term life policy that gave me enough discount to pay for the life ins. policy, pretty much got it for free

Nationwide. Less than $250 a year that's covering $20,000. Filed a claim on motor this year when I ran into a sand bar that was about 6" under the water. They paid to fix motor which was $7800. no questions other than I had to have service tech write up the estate and in his option was this a accident. Wrote me a check with in 7 days! Great insurance Comany and well worth the $250 a year for a $7800 claim!

Most all of em will pay off on damage to your boat, but what about Liability? How many of em will write you a million dollar liability for that same boat? 100k medical per person on injury, thats where you get in trouble. Then don't even wake up should you not have proper equipment in the boat or the boat be overated. Watch what you buy and don't just go with the cheap cut rate policies!

Filed a claim yet? I've heard horror stories. Not knocking it, just asking.
