Cogan Grass

Postby cootkiller » Wed Jun 13, 2012 10:42 am

Does the state have any programs right now to aide with the sparaying of cogan grass? I looked online but all information was from 2011. This new land i just bought has it on most of the roads and the scupanon's have it all in them.
I know a few years ago they had a program where they would come in and spray it for you.
Total counting roads and i think one food plot has some growing in it is about 3/4 - one acre on the 140 acres. Maybe more.

You can contact Dr. John Byrd in the Dept. of Plant and Soil Sciences (Weed Science) at Mississippi State too. He heads up a lot of the cogongrass work and programs in MS.
