Flies

Postby hillhunter » Sun Jun 03, 2012 7:26 pm

Anyone know of a cure for flies? Got a buddy that has a terrible house fly problem outside his home, there are easily 4-500 under his garage and his back porch is eat up with them too. He has a barrel fan by the back door to keep them from flying in every time he opens the door.

Take a bottle of water and roll up some foil. Stick it in the bottle, put the cap on it and set it out there

I tried to google the name but couldn't find it somebody else may know. It is a spray you can place it in a timed despenser but about one spray every 30 will clear out any barn.

Lowes has the bags you fill with water and hang up. Something in it attracts the flies to it. Hang a few about 30 from the back door.

further than 30 from the door! the "bait" is RANK once it gets saturated w/water...it works, though.

*this is the one i got that smells so bad that it works well....do NOT let it slip out of your hand and bust at the back door in the garage (full of freshly activated bait and water) ....and splash up on sheetrock....and in every crack and crevice around the dryer exhaust (at the back door, in the garage).

Walmart has them. They work great.

The flies are horrible in Sharkey and Humphreys Counties this year. Anybody know why? Population cycle? They bite too, even through clothing.

As far as fly eradication goes, nothing gives me more pleasure than killing 2 flies (copulating on my truck) in one swat.
