Avogadro's number is the number used to figure out how many atoms are in a gram mol of substance.

1 gram mole carbon = 12.01 grams
carbon this is commonly written
1 mole carbon = 12.01 grams carbon.

This is the mass of carbon that contains 6.022 x 10^23 carbon atoms

maybe this will clear it up a little

Yeah I know it sucks, but if you get the hang of it, it is very addictive.

Rip,

Fibonacci's Number goes like this:

0+1=1
1+1=2
2+1=3
3+2=5
5+3=8
8+5=13
13+8=21
21+13=34

and so on...I assume you get the pattern here...

Anyway, if you divide 21 by 13, you get 1.615
If you divide 34 by 21, you get 1.619

And so on all the way to infinity...and you can actually take any two numbers as a starting point, follow the process and pretty soon you'll get Fibonacci's Number, which is 1.618034.

And the inverse (1/x) of 1.618034 is 0.618034.

The square of 1.618034 is 2.618034.

It's some cool stuff. Occurs everywhere in nature (flower petals are the common example).

The PHI's have it! 1.618! In nature, there are any number of places this ratio turns up. As Venus completes her 8 year cycle, the segments intersect with each other. If you do a ratio of the of the length of the whole segment divided by the shorter segment...it's 1.618.

If you disected a Chambered Nautilus and disected it, the area of each new chamber divided by the area of the previous chamber is a ratio of 1.618.

There are hundreds of such mathematical certainties using PHI. The human body and its segments, when averaged over a large population to account for individual variety...is based on 1.618. From hip to toe, divided by the distance from knee to toe...1.618!
Works for the entire body.

Many segmented insects are divided in that ratio, as well.

If you are bored and want to explore this a bit further got to "goldennumber.net"

It is hard to see all this symetry in the universe and still believe it all happened by chance.

Interested in your take on this, Benny. I promise that is not a set-up, and please don't anyone jump on his back, as I asked for his comment and view!
