but.......it's been the drug i have been hooked on for almost 20 years and well it's still a heck a lot of fun to see a bird flop around 12 steps from me with an arrow shot in it. I went 1-6 this year at birds at that distance. Some years i will score higher and every now and then i have to buy a butterball. But in short, i love these birds and being that close to a strutting or inquisitive gobbler fuels the romance i have with this sport and the history of the tackle we pursue it with...
