THE WATER IS OVERFLOWING IN THE EMERG.SPILLWAY AT ARKABUTLA...IS TOPPED IT
YESTERDAY...AND WERE FORCAST TO GET ANOTHER
2-4 INCHES TONITE AND MONDAY...LOOKS LIKE
THE COLDWATER RIVER IS GOING TO BE HIGH
THE WHOLE SEASON

ON A BRIGHT NOTE...ALL THE RESEVOURS SHOULD HAVE HIGH WATER DURING THE SPRING..WHICH MEANS A GOOD SPAWN FOR BASS AND CRAPPIE!!

I was not able to hunt today but i did however did get to communicate with my huntn' buds and they were able to get two lonely red heads in the mud hole, the water is so deep that they were sitting in the blind and could see over hwy 51. I will be after them next weekend I can not wait, my wife gets out of school for christmas break so I get to chase the ducks for two weeks. I never thought I could be so excited about final exams.!!@@!!

fogg road is closed north of 304. they closed it today i guess. i rode down it yesterday on the way back from hunting. we rode down it a little ways today just to see and they closed it because the water is standing about an inch or so over the road i guess they are erring on the side of caution. I can say that conger road is completely under water. it is probably 2 or 3 feet under water. If we could get the cold weather up north it would be great, we finally have some water to hold the birds instead of them leapfrogging us. I bet if we didn't have all this water it would have been 0 degrees up north for the past month. Mother nature was Murphy's mom.
