The good news is the Senate bill just passed the house. Hopefully the governor will sign it.

my wife picked some up for me in the montgomery area year before last, so it is in east al...haven't seen it in b'ham, but haven't been over in a while.
I have a coworker that's from MI. She brought me 2 six packs and a sticker. Good stuff.

sierra nevada pale ale
liberty ale
anchor steam ale
tommy knocker pick axe ipa
rouge dead guy ale
southern pecan
stella artois
peroni
yuengling
red hook ale
rouge yellow snow ipa

Agreed. Anybody that drinks "Triple Hops Brewed" Miller Lite will find a Pale Ale strange. It actually has hops flavor. American Pale Lagers (if you insist on calling Miller Lite a Pilsner, go ahead) don't have much in the way of flavoring hops. I'd think those 2 IPA's would blow his head off.

I'd add a Guinness to the list. They're dark, but easy to drink. Or maybe An Abita Turbodog.

I know a lot of "regular" beer drinkers like the Abita Amber.

Ive yet to find a beer nearly as great as the first sip of budweiser my dad let me take after pulling the tab off the tin can. Im 49, bet I was 5, trout fishing in little lagoon in Baldwin County. Cold and crisp. Bet Ive had a 1000 since, but nothing compared to that first sip....should of quit while on top.

Cheers
