Food recomendations please!
I have an 18 month yellow lab and a 7 week old black lab. I am looking for some recomendations on good quality resonably priced food that isn't difficult to find. When I got my yellow lab I started her out on Enhance but that got impossible to find in central Alabama. I am currently feeding Pro plan to the 18 month old and the 7 week old is on Sportsmans Pride (that is what she was started on). In a few months I need to start feeding them the same thing and I would like to hear some opinions on what everyone else is feeding. Thanks for the help.

Pro Plan but keep the puppy on puppy food until 1 yr or 15 mos. They need the large breed also.

Re: Food recomendations please!
easiest to find: eukanuba or pro plan
Arkat VF was the best thing i'd ever fed a dog, but then it disappeared.. doing everything i can do stay on the enhance right now.
now euk and pro plan are not bad foods, and i have fed both to my dog while trying to replace the vf. I have better results on enhance than anything else. My dog couldn't put on weight with those foods, but that may be an abnormality.

I feed Loyal Active Adult

Pro plan or euk--seems to be the best on the market. I have never kept a dog on puppy food past 6 mo.

I've been feeding my chessie diamond naturals lamb and rice large breed and have been very happy. I usually get it at tractor supply. I've always tried to stay away from a lot of fillers and corn.
