What do ya'll do to unwind...
Re: What do ya'll do to unwind...
Either wild turkey or Evan Williams straight on Ice seems to cover all problems, except my wife! Can't fix that one yet
May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.

I always grab my Bible, read about 10 chapters in the Book of Psalms, and spend about thirty minutes in prayer and meditation. It's hard to stay stressed out about the things of this world when you put everything in its proper perspective.

Nothing. Gotta stay sharp and keep my edge.

Load my boys up & head to the camp. Just going thru the gate seems to make my stress level drop by 50%.

Sometimes this causes stress, depending on how well you shoot.southernmallard wrote:Good bourbon and 18 holes....Axes stress everytime.
For me, I take the drive home to start my decompression before seeing the wife. After supper, Jack and I will do a little running.
Other than that, remember that there are really 2 simple rules for releaving stress that are effective for most people.
Rule #1 - Don't sweat the small stuff.
Rule #2 - It is all 'small stuff'.
Nobody owes you anything.

Had to quit watching and reading the news cause I'd get too cranked up over a bunch of stuff I'll never fix alone. Stress is a weird "burden", being stressed over one thing can be helped by beating the hell out of something (non-living of course), stress over another may be best dealt with by slowing down and appreciating the good things in your life. It's person, situation and mood specific.
