Ted contests on what looks like a jug headed tight lipped turkey! How long were them hooks? 1 1/4+?

just a hair shy of 1 3/8 & 1 1/8. He's the biggest spurred bird i have ever killed.

I'll probably get crucified but this was your classic case of a 2 for 1 shot special. 4 birds came strutting in in a drizzle just a gobbling their fool heads off and about 30 yards they hung up. When I picked the bigger of the 2 lead birds out the second was hidden behind him and when I pulled the trigger both started floppin. Big bird was 21 lbs with 10 ½“beard and 1"spurs, the second was 17 lbs with a 9"pencil beard and ¾ spurs.

Only top water turkey hunters:

1. Kill more than one turkey in one shot
2. Post their illegal activity on the interweb
3. Feel like they have to post illegal activity so they don't seem top water
4. Think it's ok to break the law cause it was an "accident"
