In a designated disposal area out side of the navigation channel. This summer, a cutterhead, pipeline dredge will clear out our dumping site and deposit the sand out in a marshy area to build up low areas for planting grasses, shore bird nesting, etc.

Max loaded condition is 31.5' fore and aft. we dig the river below baton rouge to the gulf to 52'!
