He was the boss. I'm on my phone or I would type the long version of the story. I actually had another bird gobble closer but he shut him down and the other bird literally ran about 300 yards and posted up. This guy spit and drummed letting everything in the woods know he was large and in charge the whole way to the end of the gun barrel. Very satisfying since he gave me the slip Thursday morning. I slipped in a little later after his hens had left so he was more cooperative. Not the most wiley bird (that one will probably never be topped) I've ever dealt with but satisfying none the less.
