SEC Baseball 2012
Florida and Arkansas picked by coaches to win the divisions with Florida picked as overall SEC winner.
Only a couple of days away from first pitches taking place for 2012 season. Of course it gets cold and wet when the season gets ready to start.

Cannot argue with those two being picked. I would pick the same way. USCe will make some noise. I think either Ole Miss or State will make some noise as well. I am up in the air on my LSU Tigers. They have arms, just not bats. That probably translates to a little over .500 in SEC play with an appearance in Hoover. I would love to see them host a regional but that may be asking too much.

+1... was planning a trip to watch the Bulldogs Sat but think the rain is going to mess that up!

Well Bama started off 0-3 and gave up a bunch of runs. I think they will be lucky to finish 5th in the west.

LSU is 3-0 with two wins over Air Force and one over powerhouse Alcorn State. Outscored over-matched opponents 33-2. Pitching looks good, can't tell with bats. Bought like I expected.
Re: SEC Baseball 2012
rebs split with tcu at tcu. several errors in sundays game. all in all, not bad for opening weekend against a decent team.

AU went 1-2 against SEC newcomer Mizzou.
SEC coaches predicted us to finish dead last in the West.
It's like we start over every year after losing players to the next level.

Pretty sure Vandy lost a ton of players to the draft last year.

Only a few day away from kicking off the SEC schedule. MSU needs the injured players back in the lineup soon. Not sure we can score enough runs consistently for any pitching without Stark, Norris, and Bradford playing. Brownlee hurt too. Glad to see the kid in RF playing well. LSU this weekend so a good test right off the bat.

LSU's whole team is sick right now and lucky they don't have any midweek games.
Re: SEC Baseball 2012
Dogs lose a one run game last night....need those bats in the lineup.

Re: SEC Baseball 2012
So far this season, LSU is exactly what I thought they would be...good to great pitching and little to no offense. Thus far, when LSU faces an even moderately decent pitcher, they literally cannot score runs. It is gonna be a long, long season I am afraid.
