picked up a few at buster's...they're sorely lackin' on beer selection and inventory...one of the clerks dropped a 4pk of natty smith organic ipa on the floor and broke them...such a shame for such good beer to meet such a sour fate!

- natty smith organic ipa
- sierra nevada torpedo ipa
- victory hop devil
- victory hop wallop
- rj rocker bell ringer ale
- ommegang dubble
- mendocino imperial ipa
- stone ipa

Picked up 2 six packs of Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye, 1 six pack of NOLA Brown Ale, 1 12 oz bottle of Evil Twin Yang IPA, Bombers of: Stone Arrogant "illegitimate child", Abita 25th Anniversary Vanilla Doubledog (Turbodog with Vanilla beans added), and St Arnold Endeavor DIPA in New Orleans. Wish I'd found some of the Irish Channel Stout and Hopitoulas IPA but at that point we were ready to leave the Big Easy and I didn't feel like running around anymore.

We made 2 trips to the Avenue pub: Nola Brewer's crack (their mixture of NOLA Irish Channel Stout and NOLA Hopitoulas IPA), Abita St. Gleason Imperial Red Ale (all proceeds go to Team Gleason - Former NO Saint Steve Gleason's ALS charity), - then 2nd trip I had Evil Twin Yang IPA, St. Arnold's Endeavor DIPA and the Stone/NOLA Brewing joint release "Pour Me Something, Mistah" Imperial Porter.

We also did the NOLA Brewing Tour. I highly recommend it. The tour is free, it starts at 2pm on Fridays, lasts a little over an hour. It's pretty crowded, and it can be hard to hear - but you get a free pint glass when you walk into the brewery and free beer til the tours over. They had most of their brews on tap. Good stuff.

that and dead guy are staples...I still can't tell if it is just re-branded/packaged pick axe ale, or if they really reformulated pick axe into an ipa...good stuff, no matter which!

I had a couple pints of Two Hearted Ale the other night at Mellow Mushroom. Needless to say, I was surprised to see it on the draft list.

Man, that is a good beer and even better on draft. The pizza wasn't half bad either...given that is what I went there for right... Who cares...drink up!

Yes, it does. I wasn't aware Bell's distributed this far down - but if it is Bama, that's a great sign. Two Hearted is 7%.

The good news is the Senate bill just passed the house. Hopefully the governor will sign it.
