all that being said, the worst pain i've ever felt was from an Asp ("BEARDED CLAM" Caterpillar) sting last year, lil furry guy got on the backrest of the ranger and i stretched my arm out right on top of him, whole arm went numb/useless/paralyzed for about 6 hours, scared the shiite out of me.
Had the same thing happen to me riding around at night on a four wheeler several years ago. Apparently, it got smashed into my arm moving a limb out of the path. I thought I got bite by a snake...got in the light trying to find fang marks and couldn't find them. I assume that it was what you are talking about. Arm hurt like heck and chills all over my body...

We had Asps all over South Tx as a kid.. They will flat out put you out of commission.. I got bit twice as a kid, never want that to happen again.

I got hit by one of these when I was a kid.....very painful and burned for quite a while after. Heard an asp was worse though, hope I never find out.

I came up on a cottonmouth this spring.... it crawled up in a small brush pile about 3' in diameter when he saw me.... I jumped off my rhino.... could only see a shaking tail in the brush pile..... I backed off about 10' and fired into the pile.... it blew snake out the back side of the pile and part of him was hanging on a stick about 3' on the other side of the pile. I don't know where the rest of him was.

The 410 pistol will make everyone a good shot. I love it.
Congratulations! You killed something that was trying to get away from you and was not threatening you at all! Here is your man card.

Wingman- I would touch one of those things period. Just the look on their face is evil man!
What you going to say when he bites you for handling him? I mean he is already pissed off before you touch him, thats their attitudes..
May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face, and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.
