i'll never buy another pair of Rocky anything!!!!

i have had their hunting boots, work boots and snake boots, its a name with nothing behind it.

Danner on the other hand, i have a pair of their hunting boots and have worn the devil out of them for several years, they are comfortable, and still do not leak. i have a pair of their lace up snake boots, after 7 years i finally feel like i will need to replace them (3 of those years i wore them nearly every day cruising timber or hunting) they finally started leaking last year. they also have excellant customer service. i had a pair of hiking boots that started having sole seperation after 8-9 months, i called and asked what to do, they sent me a new pair fed ex next day and a box to return the other pair, that was the last i heard about it

Order them from the lacrosse website? They've had big sale lately on lacrosse and danner boots, upwards of 70% off.

I bought a pair of rocky boots. They hurt so bad after hunting in them, I figured I would be better off with a snake bite!

Danner boots suck. They leak and the liners pull out of them. And there customer service is horrible now that Lacrosse owns them.

Snake boots are for people scared of snakes ! You dont wear ur snake boots walking around ur yard and you are just as likely to get bit out there so just get u some lacross alpha lights and go get u a war rooster ..

You know... i couldn't agree more! I've NEVER owned a pair of snake boots. I like uninsulate Lacrosse granges. ...But, then again, to each his own.

UH.... I'm gonna have to disagree on this one. You are a lot more likely to get bit by a snake while walking through sloughs or waist high bushes in the middle of the woods, than you are walking around on a manicured yard... Unless you are turkey hunting on a golf course..

I'm not one but scared of snakes. I actually really like snakes. But if I step on a snake while walking in a hardwood bottom, he probably isn't going to like me very much. I can't count how many cotton mouths I've seen turkey hunting (and who knows how many I've walked a few feet from and not seen). But I know I've never seen a single poisonous snake in my yard. Likelihood of being bit turkey hunting is astronically higher than me cutting my grass. I see a snake almost every time I go.
