Re: Places to eat around Yazoo City
Sorry to say it, but the last time we went to Ribeyes, our steaks were fat, gristly, and tough....not to mention, the four drunks around the next table almost had to be removed by the sheriff....I'll never go there with my wife, again.
Re: Places to eat around Yazoo City
I got banned from Ribeyes a few years ago for getting a little deep in the sauce. Never happend anywhere else, must be something in the water. Think thats about all there is in Yazoo except for the Mexican restaurant. Used to be a place downtown, The Main Event. Two dykes ran it. I liked it. Closed now i think.

Sadly, Yazoo City is gone down. There is nothing there. Back in the day (60's-70's) there was the original Stubbs, D and L cafe, Patenotts, the original Hastee Tastee and harris' hot tomale stand.

They sure can cook. I cooked with them in Memphis in May several years ago. I get facebook updates from them on the daily menu for lunch. If I was in the area, I sure would try it.Anatidae wrote:Ubon's BBQ - sorta South end of main drag (49), I think.
