This recipe turned out great. We used everclear being we couldn't get our hands on some shine. Fumes were potent to the nose when drinking it but never tasted the everclear. Actually drank it while it was still hot and it was great being how cold it was Saturday night. Be good to throw Ina thermos heated up to take on a duck hunt to sip on in the blind

Tell ya another good thing to do with it come about July get ya a block of ice (about 3' long) trench it out in the middle put the block up on a slant get someone to pour it from the top and someone catch it at the bottom man you talking about good......

This may be a stupid question, but if you make the apple pie recipe does it have to be refrigerated afterwards? I don't think I could drink 2&1/2 gallons in a weekend. I wonder how long it keeps at room temp with the juice and stuff in it.

Works good if you have about 5 people to drink on it. Save the jugs the juice and cider comes in to use to keep what didn't get drank and put in fridge. 4 of us knocked out a gallon while drinking some beer. Its rather sweet so can't drink a lot at one time

Skip and Go Naked:
1 bag ice
1 can limeade
1 can lemonade
2 liters Sprite® soda
1/2 gal Moonshine

you can add oranges, of what ever friut you like.

Oh My!!!! This reminds me of college....used to just dump all of this in an ice chest before parties. STOUT STUFF.

apple pie is great but be careful cause it will sneak up on you and kick you in the ass...if done right u cant taste any shine you can just feel it bout halfway down when the warmth starts to spread...you can easily drink way to much way to fast lol

I bought a bottle at Buster's in Memphis. They also have it at McDade's Liquor store in Jackson.

You can get Apple Cider anywhere that has a decent beer selection. Hornsby's and Woodchuck are all over Mississippi.
