Annie Girl and C-Rose out of Zeke's in Orange Beach have been 2 of the better ones I've been on, in that order. I haven't been in a couple years but last time I went on Annie Girl he was booked up almost a year in advance, but that might've changed in Obama's roaring economy. There are a couple others that are good too but I can't remember the names right now.

blake what kind of fishing are you looking to do? I live in mobile and fish 2-3 days a week out of DI. I know a lot of the captains down there and can probably find you something for reasonable if u give me an idea what u want to go after... and about how many ppl u have going

if you can be a little more specific i can try and recommend someone. First you need to say whether you plan to bottom fish (snapper/grouper) or pelagic fish (dolphin/tuna). Then do you have 4-6 guys and are you looking to book a whole boat, or are you just one guy and you are looking to be one of 30 on a head boat? and lastly where would you like to leave from?

Good friend of mine is getting married this summer and wants to take a trip out to catch tuna and other big fish. Would probably be about 6-8 people. I'm guessing leave out of somewhere in LA. Not trying to hijack the thread. Any recommendations for that kind of trip?
