Duck Commander?

Did any of you boys or girls go to see and hear Phil when he was in Hattiesburg Friday night? I went, my in-laws live there. I enjoyed talking to him. He was at La. Tech playing ball the same time I was at Northwestern. Not too many duck hunters there in the piney woods.

Shoot them sprigs on their first pass!

I was wondering if anyone would post a recap of the Hattiesburg gathering with Phil. Was it rewarding? Did he give tips or was it more of a show & tell on his career?

PHIL GAVE A TALK ON HOW TO BE A MORE SUCCESSFUL HUNTER. HE TALKED VERY LITTLE ABOUT HIMSELF. IT WAS VERY EDUCATIONAL AND ENJOYABLE. IF YOU GET A CHANCE TO GO SEE HIM IT IS WORTH THE EFFORT TO GO.

I was in attendance in Hattiesburg and it was well worth the time to hear Phil speak. He gave some good advice about the sport and he even indicated that twirlie decoys sure do make a difference and that he uses them in his setup. The best part of his presentation was the last ten minutes when he gave his personal testimony about how he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and then he presented the plan of salvation. Worth more than all the duck talk in the world.

I was also there and I liked his sense of humor. Intriguing man who is very simple and just seems to like ducks. I also like what he said about the greenwing teal just two minutes after shooting time. Got me a nice autographed hat though.
