Great read Rob.. Trophy is in the eye of the beholder.. I got a deer on my wall that most folks wouldn't mount.. In fact, if there was not an 8YO boy begging his dad to mount the deer some 30+ years ago he never would have done it. But that morning in the blind when my Dad laid the hammer down on his first racked buck, I was there. Everytime I look up on the wall and see that deer, I think of that morning spent with my Dad.. Its not the Tines its the Times that matter most.

Congratulations to a fine man. Im going to have to give him a call and tell him myself. As far as her taking care of him you are so right but more like she took care of the whole house

Once again, thank you for all the kind words. I'm glad ya'll enjoyed it.

Chad, you nailed it. She took care of a lot more people than just Bob.

Thanks,

Pond

Congrats to your father. Sometimes when life tends to get a little dark on us, the Good Lord sends a little sunshine in our life.

Great account, Rob. Long live "The Buffalo" and the legacy of the wonderful woman we all loved that stood behind him for so many years!

That is awesome! Congrats to both of you.
I love to watch the ducks circle and the dogs work.
