I've been in there and there is a reason that stuff is still on the shelves.....
Re: Carter Jewelers
its getting to the point now that whenever i hear his commercial on the radio i change the channel. i cant stand to hear the man talk. i got nothing for anyone who attempts to profit by advertising the need for a sale so that he can buy out his recently deceased partner's share in the business. even if its true, it shouldn't be the platform for another sale.
Re: Carter Jewelers
I agree, but it does have grown, presumably strait, men discussing a jewelry store on a duck hunting website.gps4 wrote:its getting to the point now that whenever i hear his commercial on the radio i change the channel. i cant stand to hear the man talk. i got nothing for anyone who attempts to profit by advertising the need for a sale so that he can buy out his recently deceased partner's share in the business. even if its true, it shouldn't be the platform for another sale.

Re: Carter Jewelers
Worst commercial on the radio is on talk radio about the building supply store. I HATE them and always change the channel when they come on. Some guy named Wendall talking about the big box stores/

The commercial that gets me is on Supertalk for sedation dentistry (maybe Dr. Germany?) The guy doing the commercial sounds like he has been sedated himself.

I really hate Jerry Lake with a passion. In person, he is an "turd-cutter" and his commercials suck. bla bla bla
Re: Carter Jewelers
I won't go there just because of the classless commercials. Wonder how many other folks stay away for that reason too.

Re: Carter Jewelers
I dunno about y'all but everytime I hear those commercials I always think to myself "his roofer must make a ton for all these terrible storms that manage to tear up his roof!"
Re: Carter Jewelers
if the purpose for the commercial is to generate more business by enticing me to come spend money at his place, it has failed miserably.JaMak84 wrote:I agree, but it does have grown, presumably strait, men discussing a jewelry store on a duck hunting website.gps4 wrote:its getting to the point now that whenever i hear his commercial on the radio i change the channel. i cant stand to hear the man talk. i got nothing for anyone who attempts to profit by advertising the need for a sale so that he can buy out his recently deceased partner's share in the business. even if its true, it shouldn't be the platform for another sale.
Re: Carter Jewelers
One ad said he was selling his inventory to keep from packing it up........for the remodel.... I thought all business's that sell stuff sold it so it didn't have to be packed up.
I agree... his ads turn me off.
