South Mississippi Buck

Postby Bourbon » Mon Dec 19, 2011 8:51 am

Was lucky enough to harvest this buck in south Mississippi. Haven't aged him yet, but looks like a mature buck. 8 point, 18 inch inside spread, 19 inch beams, weighed 225 lbs.

Had a smaller buck with him, a basket 5 or 6 point.

Biggest one I have shot to date.

Thanks! Was in Wilkinson County on some private land.

Definitely some good deer around, but I grew up in the delta. Nothing like the monsters roaming around there!
