Cold Air!

Just saw a segment on The Weather Channel, with the "Winter Weather Expert" Dr. Kocin, and he showed how this big "blocking" High pressure system in the North Atlantic Ocean was about to move closer to Canada, thus forcing the cold air pent up in the extreme north southward, down the Mississippi valley. I think he said that this weather pattern should begin about Tuesday of next week and stay that way for a while, replacing this current pattern with high pressure dominating the east and forcing the clockwise, sub-tropical flow up from the Gulf of Mexico. I know the Weather channel is not always right, but I think (hope) this forcast is.
