I just flexed my muscles and he backed off. Didn't work though.

If I am spending that much on a shotgun, it ain't going to be a Browning, Winchester or Remington.

Buy the Beretta and be done with it.

A game warden could give you a ticket, but it wouldn't hold up in court. Been there, done that! 8)

Had the Maxus for a year now and very pleased with it. Only thing i don't like about it is the switch on the side to keep shells in the magazine from entering the chamber. I have had it caught on clothing or whatever and didn't realize it was on. this isn't much fun when a group of mallards fall in you face and you only get one shot! Had this happen a few times.

I've been checked once by a Fed who used his shells. They were 2 3/4. He also searched me for shellf after he noticed an object in my pocket that looked like a shell. He made me turn all my pockets inside out even after I showed him it was my flashlight. He acted like Billy Joe Bad booty the whole time and viewed me as guilty of something he just hasn't yet. Had his ticket pad in the front pocket of his waders so he was good to go right then.

I'd much rather deal with State guys. I have never had a problem with them. They are nice and will stay and talk hunting giving advice. I'm always legal, or at least to the best of my ability. If I'm doing something wrong it's because I was ignorant or just plain missed something.

While looking at them on-line (never seen one on the shelf), how does a sling attach to the forearm?

I need a soft shooting gun, so considering this one.

Inquiring minds want to know.

The sling attaches pretty easy. you just lift the lever up like you were going to take the for arm off and it will sit inside there and push the lever back down.

Why you wanna pay more for less?????? Plus Beretta is soon phasing out the extrema 2 Im not so sure about this new one yet. Problem appears to still be there! Browning and winchester are the only gas guns that don't use the pin in bolt.
